Fans of the Persona franchise will rejoice as Persona 4 will be having an anime adaptation and it will be scheduled to air this coming fall.
A teaser countdown was seen last week at http://www.mayonaka-tv.jp where some are predicting either it’s a PSP port or an anime adaptation. and it was confirmed to be the latter. You can check the details about the teaser announcement at sakuraindex.jp
Persona 4 the Animation will be handled by Anime International Company, the team behind some of the great animes such as Bubblegum Crisis (the original version) Ah! My Goddess, El Hazard, Macross 2 and Gun x Sword, and it will be directed by Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!). This isn’t the first game-to-anime project by Seiji Kishi, his previous project was Ragnarok: The Animation, which was based on the hit MMORPG Ragnarok Online.
A new trailer was shown recently about the Persona 4 anime, yet there is still no details on the opening song and the number of episodes.
