July 28, 2011

It is a sad day for the players of Tantra PH, as one of the longest running MMORPG in the country announced that they will be shutting down their servers on September 1, 2011.

It seems that Amped Games decided not to renew their contract with HanbiSoft due to the lack of game updates for the past years. Tantra was launched way back in 2004 by ABS-CBN Multimedia now renamed Amped Games, they shifted to the Free-to-Play business model in 2006. Tantra was HanbitSoft’s flagship game
