PS Vita Launch Schedule Announced

Sony has finally announce the launch date for their upcoming portable console; the PlayStation Vita. This was announce awhile ago at the Web 2.0 Summit by President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA) Jack Tretton.

The PlayStation Vita will be available in major retailers in North America, Canada, Latin America and Europe on February 22, 2012.

More than 100 games are in development and will be available when the PlayStation Vita is released, some of these games include  Sound ShapesResistance: Burning SkiesUncharted Golden Abyss,  Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3Assassin’s CreedFIFA and Call of Duty

 

PlayStation Vita will also have access to social network applications such as Facebook, Twitter, foursquare and Skype.
