GBPlay just made two special announcements for their flagship FPS game.

GBPlay Inc., otherwise known as Gameclub is proud to present Crossfire Stars 2015. Crossfire Stars is a global e-sports league where teams from 80 countries compete for the championship title. Regional champions will be selected through Crossfire Stars National Finals and compete against each other in the Crossfire Stars Grand Final.

Long been popular as the go-to online shooting game in the country, CFS 2015 provides an opportunity for Philippine Crossfire players to test out their skills against each other. Players from Luzon, Visayas and Mindano will take part to determine the best team in each city. Already done with tournaments in Cebu, CDO, Batangas, Davao and Manila, CFS2015 is still going to hold 10 more regionals to ensure that every Crossfire diehard has the chance to show their gaming prowess.

This year’s Crossfire Stars is bigger than ever because of Gameclub’s partnership with SM Supermalls and Cyberzone. Participating teams would be vying for a share of the P450,000 regional finals prize pool. The mentioned prize pool does not yet include the figures for the National Finals itself which would be held at the Skydome in SM North Edsa on Oct 11, 2015.

This is the fourth time that the Philippines would be sending a team to represent the country at the Crossfire Stars 2015 Grand Finals. Previous showings have impressed with team Pacific.Wara finishing 4th in June of 2013, and placed as a quarter finalist in February 2014. Last December 2014 saw Pacific.Macta rise to the top and place 3rd in the Grand Finals held in Seoul, South Korea.

Would a team be able to dethrone last year’s champions Team Pacific Macta Infirma or would the reigning Philippine champions once again represent the country during the CFS 2015 Grand Finals overseas? Anything could happen this year, and it just might be your turn to take the top spot.

The Highly-Awaited Crossfire 2.0 is Coming Soon to Philippine Shores

Crossfire fans rejoice as the most awaited update in Crossfire Philippines is coming soon! Gameclub Philippines in partnership with Crossfire Developer Smilegate Inc. is proud to present the much-hyped Crossfire 2.0. The Philippines would be the 4th among 11 regions to release the Crossfire 2.0 update. Filipino players will soon be able to play their favorite online FPS game in improved graphics and experience tons of new content.

One of the changes that gamers could expect to enjoy would be the aforementioned enhanced graphics and more realistic maps. CF 2.0 is bringing Crossfire to a whole new level through visual upgrades to character models, maps and weapons.

Along with these graphics changes are improvements to the user interface and an improved buddy system. The update would feature an additional function to manage friends in a more convenient way.

And that’s not all, Crossfire 2.0 even introduces a new ranked match system, new weapons with special features and the very first VIP character. Players will now be able to test their skills against opponents of a similar skill level. The ranked match system would allow beginners of the game to improve their play against fellow newbies while the elite can compete amongst themselves to hone their skills for tournaments and competitive play.

All these changes and additions are what make Crossfire 2.0 the most significant patch to date.  The game that has captured the hearts of over 24 million Filipino gamers is about to get even bigger and better.
