Capcom Announced Dragon’s Dogma Online

It will be available in Japan for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Japanese gaming magazine and website Famitsu revealed that Capcom will be releasing Dragon’s Dogma Online. It stated that this will be a free-to-play action RPG and will feature micro-transactions, a common model for free-to-play games.

It will be handled by Hiroyuki Kobayashi; the same executive producer in charge of the first Dragon’s Dogma game. Dragon’s Dogma Online will be an open world game that utilizes a lobby-based system that can cater up to 100 players. You can form a four-man party with other players or pawns (recruitable  NPCs) and eight-player dungeon raids.

Unfortunately there are no plans for a Western release, meaning there’s a slim chance of having an English version of the game
