Are you ready for (technically) the first pop culture event in 2022?

Pop culture events are making a comeback in 2022 as Cosplay.ph kickstart their annual wave of pop culture conventions with Cosplay Carnival 2022. The event will be taking place this coming April 30 to May 1, 2022. Just like many of Cosplay.ph’s major events, Cosplay Carnival’s setting will be the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila.

A celebration of cosplay culture, Cosplay Carnival 2022 will be hosting various activities that include a Cosplay Karaoke mini-contest, Dance Duets, Trivia showdown, a Cosplay Auction and of course, the usual Cosplay Competition. A special guest from Singapore will also be arriving in the form of cosplayer Plant Lily.. In terms of ticketing, Cosplay Carnival 2022 hosted a pre-event ticket sale period back in March 11, 2022 and have sold out just a day after. As the demand has been obviously high however, Cosplay Carnival made the move to increase its venue size and continue selling tickets up until the event days. Tickets are sold for PHP 249 per event day and are available via the ticketing partner, SM Tickets.

While the return of events is very exciting, the Cosplay Carnival crew still advises everyone to be vigilant and follow any health and safety protocols as Metro Manila is still under an Alert Level for COVID-19. Aside from tickets, valid IDs and proof of vaccination should also be presented by attendees, and, depending if there are any changes to Alert Levels during event days, attendees will be requested to follow any and all updated guidelines.
