On September 17, 2020, Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, will globally release the exclusive Netflix Original Anime Series “Dragon’s Dogma.”

“Dragon’s Dogma”, the global hit open-world action game, was released by Capcom in 2012 and has sold 5.3 million copies around the world (as of June 30, 2020). After being brought back to life as the “Arisen”, one man must battle monsters who represent the seven deadly sins as he seeks revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. This epic action-adventure story is reborn as an animated series!

A trailer has now been released!

With dark clouds heralding his arrival, a dragon flies through the sky, burning a town to the ground as the protagonist Ethan, the Arisen, looks on in despair after losing everything. Along with his pawn Hannah, who mercilessly pierces her opponents with arrows, the Arisen battles the evil monsters that appear one after another. His expression gradually begins to change, foretelling the “fate” that awaits him at the end of his journey. This must-watch video brings to life a dragon beating its wings, dancing flames, and the chaos of battle all before the viewer’s eyes!

The key art revealed alongside the trailer shows Ethan gripping his sword and the brave image of Hannah storing magic in her right hand. However, as the strange shadows of monsters lurk behind them, the two heroes look intense and nervous in the face of the battle that awaits them.

The series is split into seven episodes for the seven deadly sins, and images from the episodes have been unveiled which depict Ethan and Hannah’s journey and battle scenes.

The Netflix Original Anime Series “Dragon’s Dogma” is scheduled for worldwide release only on Netflix on Thursday, September 17, 2020
