April 1 was another day of never ending pranks and jokes, why? because it’s April Fools day
and some people in the gaming industry had some crazy sense of humor that their fans actually fell for it, so let’s take a look on some notable April Fools jokes for this year.

Blizzard made their traditional April Fools news update on their games including Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft.
Some of their jokes include an iPhone application, a pet that reminds you of the Microsoft Office Assistant and a console port where you can use free motion gameplay to play
Manufacturer of professional gaming hardware Razer also made its share of pranks; they introduced a new peripheral where it enhances the player’s actions-per-minute (APM) especially when playing real time strategy games.
Bioware posted an announcement where their upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic will feature a Shryiiwook localization version where all of the character’s voices will be turned int wookies, so expect a lot of grunts and roars on this version.
ArenaNet announced a whole new job class for Guild Wars 2, and a lot of players wished this was actually true.
Perfect World revealed a new character class for their latest MMO Forsaken World, where you will be able to play as the Edward class, if you are a fan of a certain not-so-Vampire movie, then you’ll love this class
And lastly, search engine giant Google joined the April Fools craze, by announcing the Gmail Motion, where you can use your body movement to navigate and compose mails.
