Primetrade Asia; the organizers of The Best of Anime convention, held their second event with bigger venue and better activities for the anime and gaming fans. The event was held at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia last September 17 and 18, 2011.

The venue was doubled from last year’s single function room; so more attendees can enjoy roaming around the event. A lot of merchandise booth are available from figures to anime-themed clothes to video game discs. Aside from merchandise booths, there were also gaming booths where gamers can try out some of the new MMOs and also enjoy some of the best PlayStation 3 titles. Model kit enthusiasts can take the Gunpla building competition and get a chance to win prizes. There are also free hands-on drawing workshop to test out your anime/manga drawing skills. A manga library is also available at the event if you want to chill and enjoy some manga reading sessions.

There were also other activities such as a Karaoke contest, auctions and some stage performances such as a fashion show and band performance.

And of course the event will not be complete without the cosplay competition. We would like to congratulate the following contestants in winning the competition:
Day 1 (Saturday)
1st Place: Guy Singson (Kiba, Garo)
2nd Place: RB Cheng (Deathsaurer, Zoids)
3rd Place: Dennis Isidoro (Kamen Rider Accel, Kamen Rider W)
