ViewSonic® Corp., a leading global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, today announced the new ultra-slim VX2460h-LED 24-inch display. Offering the leanest profile for its size and class category, the VX2450h-LED at just 6.8 millimetres (¼ inch) thick at its thinnest point, is one of the slimmest budget monitor offerings on the market.

A minimalistic design that is space-saving and affordable, the VX2460h-LED is clad in black and silver with modern, angular lines that would complement any room’s décor. On the outside, the VX2460h-LED has touch sensitive keys for convenient on-screen display setting adjustments and features convenient connectivity with dual HDMI ports for multiple media device connections – attach two sources to the VX2460h-LED for easy switching between devices such as a PC and gaming console. With Twisted Nematic (TN) panels, the VX2460h-LED maximises the two millisecond grey-to-grey response time to prevent motion blur in games and fast moving video.

From within, the VX2460h-LED delivers superior pixel performance, powered by a full HD 1080p resolution, two millisecond video response time provided by ClearMotiv II imaging technology and ultra-high 40,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Windows 7 certified and with an Energy Star 5.1 rating, the mercury-free VX2460h-LED is equipped with ViewSonic’s ECO-mode feature which extends the lifetime of the display, while delivering energy savings of up to 40% when compared to a regular 24-inch monitor.

The VX2460h-LED is the thinnest offering yet from ViewSonic fusing fashion with technology. Partnered with a fast response time and high contrast ratio, the VX2460h-LED is truly a technologically advanced display for those demanding both world class performance and style.
