For the first time in Philippine Gaming history, one of our Philippine representative in the recently concluded World Cyber Games 2012 managed to land a bronze medal, the Grand Finals was held at Kunshan, China.

MSI.EvoGT.tnc, the PH Crossfire Team managed to land a 3rd place thanks to their effort and determination, they managed to outmatch some of the top powerhouse in the tournament, including USA, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Indonesia and Russia. Rapture Philippines supported the team during their matches at WCG 2012.

Sadly, the Philippines Team for World of Tanks (which also supported by RapturePH) didn’t managed to win in the group stage match, but with their valiant effort, they managed to beat Malayisa and Belarius (one of the first countries to have World of Tanks). The PH Team promised that they will improve in preparations for WCG 2013.

The two teams will be given automatic berth for the WCG qualifiers and they will move to the Philippine National Finals on the upcoming Philippine Gaming Expo 2013.

There are still teams that are representing our country that are still competing in international events like the Asian Cyber Games which will happen on Dec. 21-22, 2012 at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for the DoTA 2 and Counterstrike: Global Offensive. Let’s root for our team and hope that they can bring home the bacon.

Kudos to RapturePH for their endless support to our local cyber athletes.
