Prequel for Batman Arkham Series Game Announced!

The latest issue cover of Game Informer just revealed the next Batman Arkham game. The game will be titled Btaman Arkham Origins and it will be a prequel to the Arkham series, it is slated to release this October 25, 2013 on the PS3, Xbox360, WiiU and PC.

Rocksteady Studios will not be handling the game, instead Warner Bros. Montreal will be taking over the development of the game, they are als othe same team who created the Batman Arkham City Armored Edition for the WiiU.

The game takes place a few years before the events on the first two games, where Batman is on his early years. Deathstroke will make his debut on Arkham Origins as the one of the villains.

A spinoff game is also in development for the Vita and 3DS, entitled Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate and it will be developed by Armature Studios. It will feature a 2.5D Metroid style gaameplau.
