Microsoft announces Next Xbox Console Reveal Date

Microsoft has now announced the date for their revealing of the next Xbox console.

It was previously announced that they will announce the next Xbox console around May, now they finally gave the exact date of it, and it will be on May 21, 2013 at around 10:00AM PDT (that will be May 22 at 1:00 AM in the Philippines). This has finally acknowledge by Microsoft that they now have a new console to be the successor of their Xbox 360.

The announcement will take place in Redmond, Washington and will be streamed online by Spike TV and on Xbox Live and xbox.com

 

This will finally answer all the rumors that have been spreading about the core features of the next gen Xbox console, which was code named ‘Durango’. Some of the rumors that were spreading are the always online requirement to play games, the restriction of playing used or 2nd hand games and the requirement of having a new version of the Kinect.
