The Sony PlayStation 4 launch event was held in Glorietta 2 Activity center, with its last day today. We had a chance to move around the event, and one of our writers, Shin got the chance to even try out the 3D Goggles (which was connected to either a PS4 unit or a Vita TV unit).

The floor was spacious, and with at around 4-8 test units out in the open to play around with their showcase games– from GodEater 2, to NBA Live to Gundambreaker– everyone has a something to play with.

Above the stage, a video reel was playing trailers of upcoming and highly-anticipated games, such as inFAMOUS: Second Son.

Later that day, celebrities such as Jeron Teng, Bobby Ray Parks, Arnold Van Opstal, Keifer Ravena graced the event to get it on with gamers with a Celebrity Battle, pitting gamers versus them. Stage activity was kicked off by a demo of the all-new PS4 Playroom, which is kind of similar to the one with Jimmy Fallon.

The event also featured the new Vita Slim, which most of them powered the VitaTV units that were in the area.

Overall, this event had something for both gamers and non-gamers alike: a chance to try and experience a whole new level of interactivity, and a chance to catch a glimpse into the future of home entertainment.
