News from the January 2015 Nintendo Direct

We got news straight out of the first Nintendo Direct of 2015.

More great news were revealed for the Big N with their latest Nintendo Direct livestream fort he year 2015. New games for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U were unveiled as well as some new waves of Amiibo figures were being scheduled.

One of the highlights on the livestream was the announcement of the New Nintendo 3DS XL, which was already available in Japan late last year, it will be available in February 13. Two limited edition New 3DS XLs were also revealed, the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and the Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask editions will be available in a limited amount. Here are some of the games that were mentioned:

  • Mario Party 10 – Wii U
  • Xenoblade Chronicles X – Wii U
  • Kirby and the Rainbow Curse – Wii U
  • Blek – Wii U
  • Splatoons – Wii U
  • Elliot Quest – Wii U
  • Project Treasure (working title) – Wii U
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z and Super Mario Edition – 3DS
  • IronFall – 3DS
  • Story of Seasons – 3DS
  • Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. – 3DS
  • Xenoblade Chronicles – New 3DS
  • New Fire Emblem (working title) – 3DS
  • Ace Combat Horizon Legacy + – 3DS
  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate – 3DS
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D – 3DS
  • Etrian Mystery Dungeon – 3DS
