But we’re okay with that knowing Rocksteady Studios is making sure the game will be less buggy on release day.

The latest trailer reveals the updated release date as well as some new gameplay footage. Originally Batman: Arkham Knight was scheduled for an October 2014 release then was moved to June 4, 2015. Marketing Game Manager Guy Perkins explained:

“If we didn’t give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren’t happy with. We want to make sure we’re absolutely nailing it 100%.”

Then it was revealed that the game was delayed once more to a much later date for a June 23, 2015 release.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
