In Soviet Russia, PC plays Halo.

It was announced that a Halo game will be having a PC game, but will be only available in Russia. As Microsoft will be partnering with developer Saber Interactive (the team behind TimeShift and Halo: The Master Chief Collection) and game publisher Innova Systems to develop Halo Online.

Halo Online will only feature a multiplayer mode and it will be a free-to-play game, the game runs on a ‘highly modified’ version of the Halo 3 engine, so lower-spec PCs can still run the game. The closed beta test will kick start this Spring.

Unfortunately there is no plans to release Halo Online to Xbox One and there are no plans yet in releasing the game outside Russia.

Halo Online will be the first Halo game to become available since the release of Halo 2 last 2004.
