Smash Bros. opens up public voting for the its next character.

…and a campaign is now initiated for you to vote for Goku.

No, this is not an April fools joke, announced via Nintendo Direct, Smash Bros. now turns to its community as to vote for the next character in the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and WiiU. Initiated by Bandai, players can vote for pretty much any character that they want from games developed by Smash Bros. developers HAL Laboratory, Sora Ltd., Game Arts and Bandai Namco and as well as characters from game characters developed and published by Nintendo.

The online voting, called as the Fighter Ballot, is now ongoing and players can vote for their choice of character to be part of the Smash Bros. for 3DS and WiiU by visiting the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot webpage. Voting will be up until 10/3/2015.
