With hours of gaming with never ending flow of pizza and drinks, it’s a gamers gathering alright.
PlayPark organized a players gathering at Mineski Infinity in Taft Ave., Manila for Blizzard Entertainment’s Heroes of the Storm last May 9, 2015. Fans of both the MOBA scene and Blizzard had the opportunity to try out the newest game before its open beta launch on May 20. A series of gaming activities were hosted, encouraging the attendees to participate and have a great time with the other players. A series of raffle giveaways with several Heroes of the Storm merchandises that are given away to the attendees.
Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard’s take on the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) that has been popularized by Defense of The Ancients (DoTA), which was a mod game for Blizzard’s other classic gem; Warcraft III. HoTS features some Blizzard’s iconic characters and duke it out in several arena maps in a much fast-paced and engaging combat as compared with other traditional MOBA games.
PlayPark also invited the media from the gaming and pop-culture scene to try out Heroes of the Storm for their initial impression, this also gave an opportunity for the media to ask about the initial plans of PlayPark for their launch of Heroes of the Storm, and from the looks of it, it looks promising.
Congratulations to the winners of the players gathering activities; Team Bibingka for winning the Skrim Match competition and Team #MayweatherMagmahal for surviving the King of The Hill endurance competition.
Heroes of the Storm will commence their Open Beta test on May 20 and the official launch will be on June 3. For more details, head on to their official Facebook page facebook.com/BlizzHeroesSEA and on their official website www.heroessea.com.
