Ultra Street Fighter IV still reign as the main highlight of EVO, followed close by Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Melee. If combined, Super Smash Bros. would be the most popular game in EVO this year. With nine games as part of the main tournament highlight and more fighting games listed a side events.

One of the side events will feature some of the well-known anime fighting games, which some dubbed it as AnimEvo

The Prize Pool Structure for EVO will be from the $10 portion of the registration fee of each participants who registered, and it will be using a 60/20/10/4/2/2/1/1 split for the top eight for each main tournament. So if there are 2000 registrants for a particular tournament, it will be multiplied by 10 (a total of $20,000) and 60% of the pool will be given to the champion, then 20% to the first runner-up and so on. But some game publishers are adding more money to the prize pool, such as Bandai Namco putting $30,000 for Tekken 7, $50,000 for Mortal Kombat X by Warner Bros., a possible $50,000 support by Microsoft for Killer Instinct and $5,000 each for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Guilty Gear Xrd by Arc System Works.

Want to know who’s participating? You can use the player search feature to find out if your favorite Evo fighter is participating to a particular tournament, you can even check the tournament brackets to see on who’s fight who.

Evo 2015 will be on July 17 to 19, 2015 at Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’ll update you with the live stream links soon
