Local game developers and publishers had a small gathering for learn more on publishing games.
Last June 30 at the A Space Manila, a number of indie game developers and local game publishers gathered for the Mobile Game Publishing Meet Up where they can learn some tips on how to release their games to the public; whether they go for free to play or with a retail purchase price.
Some of the speakers are from well-known publishers that shared their experiences in launching games; Keith Morales (Altitude Games) shared some insights on how to publish your games, Niel Dagondon (Anino Playlab) provided some tips on using ads properly in your mobile games and Ronen Mense (AppsFlyer) on the different ways to get data on keeping your retention high in your games.
And the meet up is not just about learning new things, it’s also a great opportunity for some game developers to meet with fellow developers for some great chit-chats and a potential project collaborations, and let’s not forget with publishers for future partnerships.
Hopefully more groups would continue this kind of gatherings to support our local game developers and help them to reach out with other potential projects and collaborations with local and international game publishers, and not to mention some advises to keep them motivated to continue their works.
