The closed beta test for the MMO shooter will start this October for the Americas server.

That’s right, Blizzard has announced their beta test plan for the anticipated Overwatch game. There will be two versions of the beta test, first is the closed beta for gameplay feedback and the other is the open beta for networks stress tests. The closed beta test will start in October 27 for the Americas server, and soon on Europe and Asia.

There will also be beta weekends, where players can test out the game during the weekends, expect to see this available after Blizzcon around November.
