Anime and Chill?
American anime licensing company, Funimation, has partnered with digital giant, Sony, for an upcoming Ad-free online streaming platform “FunimationNow“.
To be initially available in US and Canada, FunimationNow aims to have subscribers “enjoy ad-free, HD streaming of Funimation’s expansive library of over 400 simulcast and catalog titles, both subbed and dubbed,” with titles including Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop and others. The platform is set to be released for mobile devices, iOS and Android, this coming February, and also on the Apple TV, Amazon and Windows 10 platforms. A follow-up launch for PS and Xbox One consoles is also being slated to follow this coming May.
FunimationNow has also opened up a free 30 day trial sign-up for new subscribers, which will grant access to the apps once they arrive later this quarter, and interested viewers from Canada and US can visit the FunimationNow Subscription page for the free trial info as well as additional subscription details.
