Mods are finally coming to consoles.
Bethesda’s latest title Fallout 4 is finally receiving full mod support for its PC and console versions starting next month. Dubbed as the Creation Kit, Bethesda Game Studios has finally confirmed support for modders by providing the new Creation Kit which allows players to browse, and install mods while still in the game, mod creation, no doubt a very vital part of the Creation Kit, is also available in the creation kit, and modders can experience creating mods using the very tool that Bethesda used to create the Fallout 4 itself.
The Creation Kit is now available on the PC via the Bethesda.net Launcher, while Steam version players can access the Creation Kit through the following steps:
- Log into Steam
- Right Click on Fallout 4 in your Library
- Select Properties
- Select Betas
- A drop down menu will appear. Select beta
- Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update
- When done, Fallout 4 should appear as Fallout 4 [Beta] in your Library
Console players are definitely not left out as the Creation Kit is set to arrive on the Xbox One this coming May while PS4 will receive their Creation Kit update this coming June 2016.
