With emphasis on “finally”.
After months of much discussion, rumors and pitchforks being raised, the spiritual successor to Capcom”s Megaman, Mighty No. 9, finally gets its western and global release dates. In an announcement made by Keiji Inafune, creator of Megaman, and also the man behind the Mighty No. 9 project, the game will be out in the North American and Asian markets this coming June 21, 2016 while the rest of the world can get a hold of Mighty No. 9 on June 24, 2016.
The announcement of the game’s release will hopefully answer the anxious anticipation of its fans and Kickstarter backers after the numerous delays that the game has experienced during its development stage. Mighty No. 9 will be first released for Console (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360) and PC, as well as Mac, Linux and Wii U platforms, with the portable versions for the PS Vita and 3DS to follow after. The game title will hope to recapture the magic of one of gaming’s most loved Action Platformer franchises, Megaman, being a project by Megaman creator itself, Keiji Inafune.
