The next game in Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series adaptations has finally confirmed its release date.

First revealed during E3 2015, the next game in Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy Ghost Recon adaptations is finally set for release this coming 2017. The military tactical shooter will once again put you in the shoes of the fictitious elite military unit, the Ghosts as you take on Drug Cartels in the region of Bolivia.

Players will be going up against the dreaded Santa Blanca Cartel as they take out drug lords in solo-play or multiplayer modes, featuring some of the classic mechanics in the Ghost Recon series. In contrast to its other game titles, Wildlands will not be in a futuristic setting, but rather follow a present-day timeline, although highly advanced military gadgetry will be made available such as drones. Wildlands will also feature an open world setting, with multiple terrains and environments that players can explore.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is set for release on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms this coming March 7, 2017.
