Gundam fight!

South East Asia’ Ber-season is Gundam season as video game developer and publisher Bandai Namco announces the dates of the SEA region open beta phase for their upcoming tile GUNDAM VERSUS.

Kicking off this early September, Bandai Namco will let players test the 5 different game modes available for Gundam Versus, namely the Online Player Match, Online 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 casuals, Offline and Online variants of the Ultimate Battle mode, Trial Battles and Free Battles. The pre-load for the OBT phase will start this Aug 29, and perhaps the best part of it all is, you won’t be needing a PlayStation plus subscription to take part in the OBT.

Gundam Versus is the newest addition to the Gundam VS video game line, and is part of the fifth generation in the series initially released back in July 6th, with the English version to come out in Sept 29. As for the SEA OBT, Bandai Namco will start test-running the game’s SEA servers this coming Sept 2 and will run until Sept 4 with the participating countries to include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.
