With over 600 exhibitors and almost 2,000 booths will be ready for the giant gaming event.

With Tokyo Game Show 2017 just around the corner, everyone will be ready to find out what new games will be in store for the gamers. And the event is not complete without its participating exhibitors and partners, and we have a rundown on the number of participating brands at Tokyo Game Show 2017.

The following information was based from the recent update from the organizers as of September 6, 2017.

A total of 601 exhibitors will be participating this year, 315 of them are from overseas which dominates more than half of the exhibitors. There will be 1930 booths ready at the event, though last year had the largest number participants for both exhibitors (at 614) and booths (at 1939), this year still showed some great signs at it is ranked the second largest for exhibitors and third for booths in the history of Tokyo Game Show. However it might be expected that more will be added at the last minute, so they might break the current record from last year if that happens. Some of the exhibitor mainstays are still here such as Bandai Namco, Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Sega, Square Enix and others that will be showcasing some of their biggest games this year.

As for the number of games to be showcased, there will be 1042 game titles to be expected. These range from VR games to casual mobile games and up to the console and PC titles. So it is going to be a weekend full of play testing and merchandise buying for the attending gamers.
