A New Mega Man Game was Announced for its 30th Anniversary

Plus more new re-releases of its classic games for the Nintendo Switch and other platforms.

It was a long wait, but finally fans get what they have wanted for so long, a new Mega Man will be hitting the stores very soon.

During the Mega Man 30th Anniversary live stream, Capcom has revealed that Mega Man 11 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in late of 2018. Based on the reveal trailer, the game will have 3D visuals but still maintaining the classic 2D side-scrolling mechanic, Mega Man will also have a new visual appearance when he switches to a different weapon . No other details were mentioned about the game but a couple of concept art were shown during the live stream to show the minor changes to Mega Man’s look.

Also the Mega Man X series will be getting a compilation pack that will be available on 2018 as well and will be playable for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. This will include Megaman X up to X8, unfortunately it will not include X Command Mission and the two Mega Man Xtreme games.

And Nintendo Switch fans will finally get their hands on the other classic Mega Man games as both Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be available for the Switch next year.
