Webzen has announced that the beta test for its upcoming epic browser MMO MU Ignition will begin tonight.

From 8 January until 11 January, 2018, MU Ignition’s beta test will be available for all users to join from 22:00 until 03:00 (UTC) each day. Users can simply log in to the official website to participate in the beta, and there is no download required. Upon conclusion of the beta test, all player progress and characters will be wiped.

MU Ignition is the official MU browser MMORPG, which will begin a new chapter in MU’s history. As a browser-based game, MU Ignition allows users to start playing in an instant without downloading any client.

To support the beta testers in this epic fantasy world, they will get free premium items and 2,500 Gems at 23:00 and 01:00 (UTC) every day (2x the amount on the first day). In addition, testers will be granted exclusive rewards for the grand opening, including Bound Gems x500, Black Copper x2, Rare Soul x15, Relic Refining Stone x15, Jewel of Bless x15, Double EXP Potion x1, Jewel of Soul x10 and Jewel of Life x5.

The MU Ignition team will also launch a game screenshot contest on the official Facebook page. From 9 January through to 16 January, 2018 (UTC), 100 winners will be randomly selected to receive special rewards, including Black Copper x2, Relic Refining Stone x10, Rare Soul x10, Jewel of Bless x10, Jewel of Life x5 and Bound Gems x200. To be eligible for the rewards, fans must post their best MU Ignition screenshots on Facebook.
