Mega Man 11 isn’t the only Mega Man that we’re getting this year.

A CAPCOM classic is hitting current generation platforms this year as they reveal the HD collection bundles of the Mega Man X series, and by current generation platforms we mean the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the Windows PC.

Easily one of the most well-acclaimed series in the Mega Man game Franchise, the Megaman X Legacy Collection will be divided into 2 bundles, each containing half of the games of the series and will be launched simultaneously this coming July. The Legacy Collections will offer an HD upgrade to the Mega Man X experience complete with high-resolution filters, updated graphics and other add-ons such as a gallery of rare concept artwork and a Soundtrack compilation which can be played through the in-game music player.

The 2 bundles will include the following titles:

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1

  • Mega Man X
  • Mega Man X2
  • Mega Man X3
  • Mega Man X4

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2

  • Mega Man X5
  • Mega Man X6
  • Mega Man X7
  • Mega Man X8

Each bundle will be set for USD 19.99 with a special NA promotion for USD 39.99 for both bundles, with physical discs for the PS4 and the Xbox One and a game cartridge for Switch users. Mega Man X first launched back in 1993 for the SNES and introduced new characters such as Zero, and employed a more mature storyline in contrast to its predecessor games. Pre-orders for the Mega Man X Legacy Collection are now available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One whereas the Nintendo Switch version will have its pre-order phase start this coming May 22, 2018, the game’s official launch for all platforms is set for July 24, 2018.
