Are you ready to go back to Racoon City?
One of the most popular games of the PlayStation, Resident Evil 2 is definitely heading down the remaster road as Capcom finally confirms that they have been definitely working on it ever since their silence after the initial announcement back in 2015.
Confirmed together with a gruesome trailer that shows a glimpse of Zombie brutality in full, bloody glory, the Resident Evil 2 remake will once again feature iconic characters, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they battle through hordes of Zombies and other monsters and uncover the mystery of Racoon City’s downfall.
Resident Evil 2 was first released for the PlayStation 1 back in 1998 and was met with critical acclaim back then for its cinematic approach to video games, with its right take on the horror atmosphere, and as well in-game world interactions. Although, being a product of its time, Resident Evil 2 did have a lot of annoying mechanics such as the fixed camera angles and the as well as the ever changing control schemes, but at the same time it also contributed to the game’s overall feel and help made the game iconic to Resident Evil fans.
Resident Evil 2: Remake will be out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Windows PC this coming January 25, 2019.
