Rayark Inc.’s PlayStation 4 title DEEMO -Reborn- released its latest teaser footage today. The team also hinted that the game is scheduled for release in spring 2019.

DEEMO -Reborn- will be published by UNTIES, the game publishing business department under Sony Music Entertainment. They revealed the latest footage of the game at their “PlayStation LineUp Tours” event. Showcased in the vivid 3D environment is a game that features both music rhythm and exploration/puzzle-solving gameplay.

Compare to the original DEEMO, the PS4 console title DEEMO -Reborn- adds more gameplay elements to the game by introducing brand-new character voice lines and cinematic cutscenes. Players will follow the little girl, voiced by popular Japanese VA Ayana Taketatsu, on her journey to explore the entire castle, which includes the piano room, the library and more. Together with the little girl, players will discover unknown clues hidden in the scenery of these locations.

Besides keeping DEEMO‘s classic exploration elements, the production team also released several detailed designs of the game’s brand-new scenery and items. The team emphasized that whether it’s playing with the TV mode or getting an immersive experience with the Virtual Reality (VR) mode, players will be able to feel as if they are standing right there in the game’s scenery.

DEEMO -Reborn- will also have the virtual music group “EGOIST” produce its main theme and other in-game songs.

“EGOIST” is a renowned Japanese music group produced by supercell’s ryo and was originally formed for the anime Guilty Crown. The group’s main vocalist, chelly, was selected from an audition with around 2000 participants. As of now, every album and single released by ‘EGOIST” have reached top 10 in the Japan Oricon charts. Players can look forward to what they will bring to the game.

At the same time, the team also announced that the PlayStation Vita title DEEMO~The Last Recital~will be updated on September 19th to the equivalent of Ver 3.1 on the mobile version. A two-week discount sale will also be available at the same time.
