Fan Makes Impressive Gundam Piloting Video

A 3D animator by the name of Minovsky Man finally releases his 360 video featuring how it’s like to pilot a Gundam by sitting you in the cockpit itself.

The video seems to play out a lot like a tutorial for an old videogame which gives it a campy charm to it, which matches well with the voice acting. What’s really impressive is how the cockpit emulates the layered interface that a pilot would deal with, controls within also animate according to how the the mecha moves. Dragging across the video pans your view, allowing you to chase action that moves from side-to-side and above and below.

While it doesn’t look as impressive as games with triple-A polish, to be able to do this mostly alone is a very impressive feat.
