BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia is proud to announce ‘Scar/let’ by ReoNa as the opening theme song for SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris, which is slated for release on 22nd May 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Digital PC via STEAM in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines & Indonesia).

Furthermore, ‘ANIMA’ also by ReoNa is confirmed as the opening theme song for the anime series, SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization War of Underworld 2nd cour! In the Sword Art Online (SAO) series, which continues to expand even after the 10th anniversary, it is the first time for the same artist to be in charge of the opening theme song of the latest game and anime series.

In the latest trailer, it depicts the hero, Kirito, setting off on a new journey with his new friends to avoid the danger that has occurred in the “Underworld” and the battle system which has yet to be revealed.
