Pricing and Release Date for the PlayStation 5 Finally Revealed

After the long wait, we can finally get our hands on the PlayStation 5 this Holiday.

Fresh off the PlayStation 5 showcase, Sony has finally revealed the pricing and release date for their next-gen console. Gamers can choose from the discless Digital Edition for USD 399 or the standard version for USD 499, USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea will get the console first on November 12, 2020 while the rest of the world can purchase on November 19, 2020.

Though before they unveiled the most sought after the announcement, they revealed more games and updated gameplay videos that will be available for the PlayStation 5, you can check out their trailers below:

Sony also announced the PlayStation Plus Collection where those with the PlayStation Plus subscription can play some of the best selling PlayStation 4 titles for free on the next-gen console. The new service will be available on launch day.

 

And finally, just as the showcase livestream was about to close, a special teaser trailer was played to reveal the sequel to the 2018 God of War game called God of War: Ragnarok, which will be available 2021.
