Project Xandata Prepares for Open Beta

Armor up and become a Xandat! Open Beta starts this November and you can play Project Xandata

NOW! You can download the game HERE. Unlike in Closed Beta, this time the servers are open 24/7 from November 12 until November 28, 2021. There will be NO DATA WIPE, and all the cosmetics and progress you earn in Open Beta will be carried over to Early Access and beyond.

Thanks to our Closed Beta Test participants, the PXD team took everyone’s feedback, polished certain features, and got rid of some pesky bugs.

What are available in OBT:

  • Game Modes (Quickplay)
    • Skirmish
    • Corruption
    • Overcharge *NEW*
  • Maps
    • Aruum Station
    • Site Agalon
    • High Suludlan
    • Sundown Forge
  • Tutorial
    • Training Mode
  • Prestige Pass
    • Players will keep all cosmetics earned from the Prestige Pass.

 

What are not available in OBT:

  • Custom Game, Arcade, & Competitive modes are disabled
  • Game Modes
    • Annihilation
    • Free-For-All
  • Maps
    • Wellspring Biotech
    • Fast Lane
  • Item Store & X-Diamonds store are disabled

 

Open Beta Test FAQs

Do I need a Steam key again like in CBT?

  • No, Open Beta no longer requires keys. Just download and play on Steam.

How long will the OBT be?

  • November 12-28, 2021.

Will Servers open and close like in CBT again?

  • Servers will be open 24/7 (unless of course emergency maintenance is needed)

When can I download Project Xandata?

  • The Open Beta Test build will be available to download on November 5, 2021. We’ll announce it on our social media pages once the build is available for download.

Do I need to sign up if I already have PXD in my Steam library/participated in previous tests?

  • No need. Simply download or update the game via steam and play away.

Can I stream/create content during the closed beta?

  • Yes.

What do I get for playing during the OBT?

  • You get to keep all the items you earn from the Prestige Pass.

Do I need to join the Official PXD Discord server?

  • You are highly encouraged to join the Official PXD Discord server for access instructions, bug reporting, and easier communication with the devs. ]
