Cygames has announced that gamera has won the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (GBVSR) tournament at GBVS Cygames Cup 2025. The event was held at Osanbashi Hall in Yokohama, Japan on January 18 and 19. Cygames has also announced the release date of GBVSR Version 2.00, slated for February 26. Meanwhile, tatuma emerged as the victor for the Guilty Gear -Strive- (GGST) tournaments.

As the GBVSR champion, gamera has qualified for a spot at the Arc World Tour Finals 2024 to take place in Los Angeles, USA on March 22 and 23. Other qualifying tournaments for Arc World Tour 2024 (AWT2024) are scheduled to be held in various locations across the globe.

First Look at Sandalphon Gameplay Trailer & Version 2.00

Sandalphon will join the roster as a new playable character with the launch of Version 2.00 on February 26. Players can also enjoy new in-game content coming with the version update.

GBVSR to Return as Main Title at Evo 2025

The Evo Championship Series, the world’s premier fighting game tournament, is set to be held from August 1 to 3 in Las Vegas, USA. Following its success in 2024, GBVSR will be making a return in 2025 as one of the tournament’s main titles.
