Toei Animation is one of the popular animation company in Japan where it produced some of the popular anime series to date, some such as Dragonball Z, Sailormoon, Fist of The Northstar, Saint Seiya and even the Japanese Transformers series.
Toei also established a Philippine office where they create in-between animations from cels created by animators in Japan, some examples include: One Pieve, Dragonball Z and one episode of Halos Legends. And to celebrate the subsidiary company, Toei Animation Philippines held an event once every 5 years, and last Novermber 26, 2011 marked its 25th year, thus the event was dubbed as TOEInty Five!
Last November 12, 2011. The University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME) held their annual anime & manga convention (this year was its 11th), in which for this year it was dubbed as AME Monogatari, this was held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
The event was packed with anime, manga and even gaming enthusiasts from all over the metro, the venue was already crowded in the afternoon but it still doesn’t stop the fans to enjoy the event. This is a good thing they decided to move their venue to the World Trade Center for a much bigger one compared to last year.
