Sony has finally announce the launch date for their upcoming portable console; the PlayStation Vita. This was announce awhile ago at the Web 2.0 Summit by President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA) Jack Tretton.
Sony Computer Entertainment has placed a couple of playable PlayStation Vitas on their booth from the recent Tokyo Game Show 2011 where attendees can get a chance to try some of their upcoming titles to the new portable console. Click on more to view some of the game footages from the event.
Sony recently announced at the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) Press Conference that their new portable console the PlayStation Vita will debut in Japan on December 17, 2011. This means that the Japanese gamers will get their hands first on the new portable console. Western gamers will soon experience the PS Vita by 2012.
